Chuck E. Cheese’s Becomes Preferred Destination for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America

IRVING, Texas (Jan. 9, 2015) – In recognition of the fact that January is National Mentoring Month, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the nation’s largest donor and volunteer-supported mentoring organization, announced Chuck E. Cheese’s as the preferred destination for its program participants—not just for January, but throughout 2015. In addition, Chuck E. Cheese’s will provide a special offer for “Bigs” (mentors), “Littles” (children), and Big Brothers Big Sisters employees who come into any Chuck E. Cheese’s store in 2015.

“A partnership between Big Brothers Big Sisters and Chuck E. Cheese’s is a natural fit for us and we couldn’t be more pleased with what’s to come,” said Tom Leverton, CEO of CEC Entertainment, Inc. “Supporting an organization that enriches the lives of children is important to us, and being the preferred destination allows us to help create lasting moments and memories for Bigs and Littles nationwide.”

“Big Brothers Big Sisters is proud to align with Chuck E. Cheese’s,” stated Pam Iorio, President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. “This is an ideal partnership that will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters affiliates across the country, and will create experiences and memories for the Bigs and Littles they serve.”

All year long, Bigs, Littles, and Big Brothers Big Sisters staff will receive a special value deal: 25 tokens, one medium one-topping pizza and two drinks for only $17.99. By contacting their local chapter, Bigs will receive a value coupon that can be used at any Chuck E. Cheese’s location.

Chuck E. Cheese’s locations will also be celebrating the partnership in the month of April through fundraising campaigns and a National Night Out on April 14th. Funds raised through these events will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and its agencies.

The ultimate destination for family fun, Chuck E. Cheese’s, “the place Where A Kid Can Be A Kid®,” features food and entertainment options such as delicious pizza, a salad bar and games appropriate for toddlers, kids, teens and adults.
